Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithy

The Merchants Association Kechery unit has been formed in 1971 with a view of co-operation among the merchants, and industrialists of this locality. This unit successfully completed 10 years of earnest team spirit, and later in 1981 it has been changed in to Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithy.Now this unit contains 250 members and from among them an elected Working Committee of 17 members.

Kechery unit is a very active working unit in Thrissur District.  The member has been given financial assistance through mediclaim insurance and accident policies since 1999.  Similarly necessary arrangements have been given for setting business loans from approved banks.

It has been planned to construct a shopping complex of three storeyed building (Kechery Vyapara Bhavan)  and on a first step a 5 cents plot has been purchased on the main roadside. We hope this adventurous step will be fulfilled soon with the full support of all members of this unit.
